The RP Group originates from the dream of the Puccinelli family, a Tuscan family who moved to Milan in the 1960s and opened the trattoria restaurant La Ruota, which still serves traditional Tuscan dishes like the “Fiorentina” steak today.

From there, Mr. Romano, with the help of Mrs. Pieretta, conceived the idea to acquire and restore historical and non-historical buildings in Tuscany, transforming them into hospitality and dining establishments. This gave rise to the beautiful hotels: Villa delle Rose (a country villa of Florentine nobles), San Lorenzo & Santa Caterina (two former 18th-century paper mills), Fattoria Settepassi (a former Tuscan cigar factory), and the more modern Hotel Country Club, Hotel Lago Verde, and Hotel Santa Barbara.

Today, their children Marzia and Massimo manage all these establishments, adhering to the two initial fundamental principles: the family-like hospitality and the quality of the cuisine.
