The story of La Ruota begins in 1964 when Romano and Pieretta (RP), originally from Chiesina Uzzanese, a small town between Lucca and Pistoia, decided to open a restaurant specializing in Tuscan cuisine, making La Ruota over the years a landmark destination near Milan.
Upon returning to Tuscany, La Ruota was managed by Mauro, Pieretta’s brother, who continued the family tradition and principles of quality and freshness of ingredients, along with a warm welcome to all our customers.
Today, the restaurant is led by the third generation with Pieretta’s grandson, Lorenzo, who passionately continues the values of the restaurant with enthusiasm.
The menu we offer focuses on dishes that have characterized La Ruota’s history over these 60 years, using fresh seasonal products and Tuscan delicacies: from Valdinievole prosciutto to Chianina beef, grilled right before your eyes.
Our structure also, thanks to the spacious and reserved rooms, has always specialized in the organization of banquets both private and corporate
The B&B, located above the La Ruota restaurant in front of the San Giuliano Milanese train station, just a few minutes from the A1 motorway exit of Melegnano, is strategically positioned for easy access to Linate Airport and the center of Milan.
The B&B offers 8 spacious rooms with a living area, private bathroom with shower, and a breakfast nook.
